Cristiano Ronaldo has severed all his ties with Real Madrid after the Portuguese joined the Italian side Juventus in the summer.
In the midst of Champions league victory celebration, Cristiano Ronaldo’s statement left a question on his Real Madrid future. Many considered that as a publicity stunt to get a new contract from the club.
However, the Portuguese shocked the whole world as he signed for the Italian side for a transfer fee around £99m, bringing an end to his long nine-year spell at the Spanish capital.
After leading Los Blancos to their third UCL in a row, fourth in five years, 13th overall, Ronaldo left Bernabeu as the leading goalscorer for the Spanish giants. The five-time Ballon d’Or winner scored 450 goals in 438 games in white shirt and often regarded as the Greatest player in Club’s history.
After the transfer was done, Real Madrid unfollowed Ronaldo on Instagram and Twitter, but the player continued to follow Los Blancos. However, now it’s clear that Ronaldo has moved on from Real Madrid. The Portuguese has unfollowed Real Madrid on Instagram.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner followed his new team Juventus and has fully set eyes on his new life in Turin. The Portuguese has the opportunity to become the first player to win league titles in England, Spain and Italy.
On the work front, the 33-year didn’t join the Italian side for the pre-season US tour but is currently training at JTC with few Juventus players.
