Real Madrid forward Gareth Bale has decided to continue at Bernabeu following the discussion with new manager Julen Lopetegui.

Ever since the Welsh international casted doubts over his future at Spanish capital and state his desire to play more after the Champions league victory against Liverpool, the former Tottenham man has been linked with a transfer away from Bernabeu.

Gareth Bale came in as a substitute to lead Madrid to their 13th European trophy by scoring two crucial goals. In the midst of the Champions league victory celebration, Bale expressed his frustration over less first-team action.

Bale has always been a top transfer target for Premier league side Manchester united since last few years. It wasn’t different this time also as the English side were heavily linked with the Welshman and the rumours of the Real Star agreeing for a move to Old Trafford was also reported by many news outlets.

It was reported earlier that Bale will sit with the newly appointed manager Julen Lopetegui before making any decisions with his future. Lopetegui, who believes Bale could be their main man this season, has already informed Bale his plans for this season.

According to the news outlet Daily Mail, following the meeting with Lopetegui, Bale has decided to continue with Real Madrid.

With Cristiano leaving for Juventus and no proper Galactico signing to replace the five-time Ballon d’Or winner, Bale has the opportunity to be the main man of the team.

Injuries have always been the hurdle that stops Bale from exploring his full potential in white shirt. However, Bale has played more games since 2014/15 and is thrilled to get into action in the coming seson.
