According to reports from Diario Gol, Real Madrid have been told by Premier League giants, Manchester United, that they have withdrawn their interest for Real Madrid superstar, Gareth Bale.
Manchester United, who are on the back of a 1-0 victory over Bale’s former team at Old Trafford, have been constantly linked with the Welshman, in a big money move to land him at Old Trafford over the past year or so.
Gareth Bale, however, has had numerous injury problems ever since he joined the Los Blancos in a then world-record fee of £85 million on deadline day in 2013. He has only managed 9 appearances across all competitions for Real this season, scoring 3 times while setting up 4 goals.
The 28-year-old, nevertheless, has 68 caps for his international team of Wales, and has scored 70 goals in 159 games for Real Madrid across all competitions in his career.
However, various reports suggest that Manchester United boss, Jose Mourinho has contacted his former club, Real Madrid, and has informed them that the Old Trafford outfit will not be making any move for the Welshman, due to his injury problems.
The former Premier League star is going through another injury-prone campaign, starting just four La Liga games this campaign and is currently out of action due to a calf injury.
