Brazilian winger Willian has missed the Chelsea pre-season training following a rumoured Real Madrid bid of £65m, according to reports.

The 29-year old represented his country in the summer’s FIFA World Cup in Russia. Ever since the commencement of the tournament, the winger has been on holidays. It is reported that the Brazilian was supposed to report back on Friday.

However, the Chelsea star has failed to report back in time and informed the English side that he has “passport issues”, according to The Times.

The 29-year old has been linked with a move away from Stamford bridge since last season. Manchester united and Barcelona are the two sides locking horns to get the signature of the Brazilian.

Earlier it was reported that the Blues have already rejected three bids from Barcelona. On the other hand, Jose Mourinho has targeted Willian as top transfer since last summer. The Portuguese boss thinks the Brazilian could be ideal for United on the right flank.

With the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus, Real are looking for a forward in the transfer market. According to The Times, Real have presented Chelsea an offer of £65m for the 29-year old.

Madrid have also been linked with the Chelsea duo of Hazard and Courtois. Willian, who has 2 more years in his contract with Chelsea, could be a great signing for the Los Blancos.

Reports close to the Brazilian states that the player will join the Chelsea pre-season tour this week
