Champions league victory celebration didn’t remain for too long as Cristiano Ronaldo casted doubts over his future at the Spanish capital for next season. Now it is reported that, Ronaldo told his real team-mates of his plan to leave weeks before the final at Kiev.
When everything was going too good for Madrid fans, statement by the Portuguese raised a lot of eyebrows, where he preferred addressing his time at Real in the past tense and he said he isn’t sure about his future at the Bernabeu.

Ronaldo had made up his mind to put an end to his Real Madrid career for a long time now and the Portuguese didn’t hide the decision from his club team-mates as his colleagues were well aware of the situation, according to Spanish news outlet Marca (via Daily Mail).
The smiles of Madrid fans turned into doubts when Ronaldo stunned the world, telling beIN Sports: “It was very nice to be in Madrid…in the next few days I will give an answer to the fans, who have always been by my side.”
It is not a new thing as Ronaldo has linked with a move away from Bernabeu a number of times in his nine year spell at the Spanish capital. It is often considered as the Portuguese’s idea of getting new contracts.
While most people thinks the motive behind this could be another attempt at forcing the club to improve his contract, but the Spanish news outlet claims that the decision by the five-time Ballon d’Or winner looks genuine.
The most convincing reason behind Ronaldo’s idea to leave is said to be the club’s decision of not giving the Portuguese a higher wage like Barcelona is doing with Lionel Messi. Perez is in no mood to double up Ronaldo’s wages (currently £18m), that could take him at par with his nemesis Argentine (£35m).
Things could go worse for the Spanish giants in the summer as the reigning European champions are still dealing with the sudden departure of the manager Zinedine Zidane.
